Seminyak

UMALAS
Umalas is known for its tranquil atmosphere, lush rice paddies and traditional Balinese houses. This laid-back area has become increasingly popular among tourists and long-term expats, leading to a growth in the number of eclectic restaurants and cafes in the area. Many of these new establishments are housed in traditional Balinese buildings, preserving the village's unique character. Its peaceful atmosphere makes it a more appealing destination to those looking for a more authentic and relaxed experience in Bali. The growing interest in Yoga, wellness and healthy-living among expats and tourists in the area has undoubtedly led to the development of a greater number of luxurious spas, Yoga studios and health-conscious shops in the neighbourhood. The village is also strategically situated; it is only a short drive from many of popular tourist destinations, such as Seminyak, Canggu, and Kuta, making it an ideal base for exploring the island.
Canggu
This hustling coastal town is popular among both domestic and international tourists and expats, and has a wide range of trendy cafes and restaurants serving a variety of international and local cuisine. The town is also a great spot for surfers of all skill levels, with a number of breaks to choose from, including the famous Echo Beach. Other than surfing, visitors can enjoy yoga and fitness classes, shop in chic designer boutiques and explore the nearby rice fields and temples.
Its dynamic nightlife scene has now become an edgy appeal to those younger digital nomad crowds as a number of hip bars and clubs start to emerge. The town is also a great base for exploring the rest of Bali, with easy access to nearby areas such as Seminyak and the famous Tanah Lot Temple. Whether you're looking to surf, relax, or explore, Canggu has something to offer everyone.
